Kick off your holiday season with the Balboa Park December Nights Festival on December 1st – December 2nd. Enjoy complimentary admission into Balboa Park museums in the evenings, as well as festive fun and activities throughout the park. Bring the whole family to enjoy holiday lights! The Greater San Diego Music Coterie Chamber Orchestra and Chorus are hosing a Messiah Sing and Play Along on December 1st from 7:30 to 9:30 PM. Attend the annual Oceanside Harbor Parade of Lights on December 9th between 6 PM and 10 PM. Boats of all shapes and sizes will the decorated in lights and ornaments – prizes will be awarded to the best decorated boats at the end of the parade! 2017 Ugly Sweater 5K and 10K. 15% of the proceeds will go to the charity, Feed My Starving Children. The race will be held on December 19th, but if you can’t make it, complete your race any time within the month of December and you may virtually send in your time.
