County Fair Family Traditions

One of my family’s most cherished traditions was to go to the county fair each year. My siblings and I always anticipated seeing the animals, the rodeo, and of course the rides and treats! This is the perfect summer family tradition to start and repeat year after year! Here are a few of the fairs located near our properties:

Iron County Fair: Parowan, UT

While Parowan is a small town, their Iron County Fair is anything but! This year’s fair boasts a parade, rodeo, tractor pull, livestock shows, and classic carnival rides. The fair will run August 31st through September 4th. Find out more and get tickets at

Twenty days packed completely to the brim with music, events, rides, food, activities for kids, animals, and exhibits. The fair will open on September 1st and finish up on September 24th.
